El actor italiano arribó el dia 21 de Octubre a Santiago
Agotado. Así llegó ayer el mítico Franco Nero al Aeropuerto de Santiago. Es que el protagonista de "Camelot" tuvo que soportar un extenuante viaje de más de 26 horas desde Roma antes de poder pisar suelo chileno.
Luciendo un elegante traje y anteojos oscuros, arribó en un avión proveniente de Sao Paulo a eso de las 10:45 horas de ayer. Aunque el viaje lo dejó exhausto, a sus 65 años, el marido de Vanessa Redgrave ("Julia"), se dio el tiempo para saludar cordialmente a algunos fanáticos y para hablar sobre su vínculo pasado con Chile: "A mi siempre me gusta regresar Chile. Tengo muchos amigos que están en Viña del Mar", dijo.
Franco Nero está en Santiago por motivos laborales. Permanecerá cinco semanas rodando el filme "Mi corazón en Chile", una producción del canal público alemán ZDF, que se rodará en el puerto de Valparaíso. En la película, el actor interpretará al dueño de una viña que en el pasado tuvo un romance con una chilena exiliada. Después de 20 años, ella vuelve a Chile para reencontrarse con su madre que agoniza.
Pero está no es la primera vez que al actor se relaciona con la ciudad porteña. Antes, en 1990, se puso bajo las órdenes de Valeria Sarmiento, con un guión de Raúl Ruiz: "He rodado aquí en Valparaíso, la película 'Amelia López O'Neil'", recuerda con una memoria sorprendente.
El actor viajó sólo y en el aeropuerto fue escoltado por dos personas, con las que abandonó el terminal aéreo en dirección a su hotel, donde tenía presupuestado pasar la tarde y descansar.
